 SUPERSTAR WHO REVOLUTIONIZED WOMEN’S BASKETBALL. 

“ARGUABLY THE SPORTS GREATEST FEMALE PLAYER, MILLER IS THE ONLY 8 TIME ALL-AMERICAN ATHELETE IN HISTORY.  SHE LED THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN   CALIFORNIA WOMEN’S TEAM TO THREE FINAL FOUR APPEARANCES, AND TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN WHICH SHE WAS THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER. 

SHE SPARKED THE U.S. WOMEN’S TEAM TO ITS FIRST OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL IN 1984, AS WELL AS GOLD MEDALS IN THE YEAR 1983 AND 1985 GOODWILL GAMES.  A BASKETBALL VIRTUOSO, MILLER WAS AMERICA’S DOMINANT PLAYER- MEN INCLUDED- WINNING THE NAISMITH AWARD AN UNPRECEDENTED THREE CONSECUTIVE TIMES AND IN 1985 WAS THE FIRST WOMAN NAMED SPORTS ILLUSTRATED’S BEST COLLEGE PLAYER.  RETURNING TO HEAD USC’S WOMEN’S TEAM IN 1993, SHE GUIDED IT TO A PAC-10 TITLE AND TWO CONSCUTIVE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENTS.
